The Montreal Canadiens seems to be the front runner for the Jokinen race along with the Buffalo Sabres. Thi is still just a rumour. The Panthers would be asking the Habs two current roster forwards and one defenceman prospects. This would be a great addition to the Habs that are doing pretty good this season. Jokinen has 24 goals 25 assists this season with 48 penalty minutes.
What is wrong with Jonathan Cheechoo? The 6 foot 1 right wing is having a hard time to score and get some points on the board. He has 43 games played andhe only has 9 goals and 7 assists. After having a 93 points year in 2005-2006 with 56 goals. He seemed to have slowed down. In 2006-2007, he still had a decent year with 37 goals and 69 points.
Cheechoo had double Hernia surgery. No player comes back from those the way they were before. It takes a very long time to heal. So for the people saying that he is not happy because he is on the third line, that is BS. He is juste not at 100% of is shape. Be patient a little bit and he will knock 50 goals again soon.
Here is a little souvenir from is 2005-2006 season where he scored 56 goals to win the Rocket Richard trophy.

The Ottawa Senators finally took the decision to impose a fine to Ray Emery for arriving late at the practice on Monday. The team refused to reveal the amount of the fine. According to the collective agreement of the players, it could be an amount going up to 14 700$. It is the second time this season that Ray Emery misses a practice. He said he tought it was at some other rink than the one it was actually.
Here is some good memories of Ray Emery!
Hope you enjoy!

NHL’s young stars game was another succes this year with the Kane, Gagner, Perron, Letang, Backstrom. All I can say is that they put on a good show on the ice for the fans. What about the goalies? Not an easy task for them having to face brakeaways 2 on 1 , 2 on 0 all the time. I found the videos on Youtube if you want to see the game.
