Montreal played a big game last night agains the Calgary Flames and won 4-1. Jaroslav Halak showed good things in net for the Habs stopping 32 out of the 33 shots he faced. Robert Lang scored twice for the Habs adding on assist. Alez Kovalev and Alex Tanguay managed to get 2 assists, and Andrei Markov added a goal and an assist.
Higgins didn’t finish the game with an upper body injury. By the way he reacted to the hit and retreated ti the bench, it seems to be a shoulder injury. We should get more news on is injury soon enough.

Kris Versteeg is having a really good season start with the Chicago BlackHawks. The guy has only 33 career games, and 22 this season. The 22 year old has been drafted by the Boston Bruins in 5th round, 13th overall in the 2004 NHL entry draft.
Kris has 20 points this season and 7 goals. He worked his way to the NHL this season by having a great training camp and beating out other great prospects such as Makarov. He ended up with Chicago’s top line playing with Toews and Kane.
Kris still remains a low-end fantasy forward, if he is not staying with Toews and Kane. If he is, take a chance and go get him. He should get a lot of points. He is also listed as a RW and a LW which is a good advantage for pools like Yahoo.
